I started as an apprentice painter on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. I remained there for five years learning decorator interior painting and paperhanging, furniture refinishing and exterior painting.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I have 40 years total experience in this trade with 35 of them as a self employed person. I have many repeat customers and most of my work is referral. I don't compete as a low bidder or need to have volume to survive. I don't believe in mass production. I do one job at a time and only move on once the client is satisfied.
