How long have you been in business?
AHS has been in business for 35 years. I have been in Human Resources for 20 years (10 years with AHS).
What is your primary product or service?
Human Services for children and adults with developmental disabilities.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
The agency was originally designed by a group of concerned families, service providers and members of the community in order to provide services for children and adults with special needs.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
The agency has grown over the years providing Early Intervention, Early Head Start and a Parent-Child Home Program for children as well as a Residential and Adult Day Health Program for adults.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
AHS has one location for the office and most of the programs. The exception is the Residential homes where clients in that program live.
